Teaching & Education
Our Teaching and Education project aims to improve the quality of life for Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander families through providing Literacy & Numeracy courses.
These projects are run in conjunction with a not-for-profit organisation who will assist you in preparing lessons plans and assessment tools. We work to increase self-sufficiency within the communities that we work in and resources that you develop will be used by future volunteers and teachers.
Here at Volunteers Australia we believe that education is vital to the sustainability of the Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander community. The beauty of our teaching and education project is its flexibility. Your talents and skills in any area will be welcomed and utilised.
