Indigenous Culture
Many cultures and communities around the world are losing their cultural traditions and languages as the world becomes increasingly commercialised.
Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander people are experiencing this loss in a number of communities. Projects are being initiated to ensure that cultural traditions and languages are recorded so they can be taught through local schools and community centres.
This is a unique opportunity for volunteers to gain a deep insight into Indigenous Culture whilst assisting the community to ensure that the languages and traditions are around for future generations.
